Cala Figuera II is a special edition that Sandra Kruisbrink made in 2018. In this series, the motif of trees is manipulated through the artist's work with paper and sketches against pastel blue hues - a classic embodiment of the artist's oeuvres. Kruisbrink derives inspirations from her solo trips through out the European landscapes. After taking quick photographs of the sceneries, she returns to the studio and translate the compositions into airy and delicate representations of a serene world through her perspectives catching the fleeting moments.
