Yinjiu Tang created a series of paintings inspired by his garden, as he sat there a lot during the lockdowns. The present work was painted in 2022, towards the end of the pandemics in Taiwan, when he started picking up brighter hues which suggest an uplifting spirit. The mixed media canvas is heavily layered with acrylic paint, concrete, and more, giving the composition a striking presence and texture. The artwork comes directly from the artist’s studio in Taiwan. It is one of the two rare examples available in Europe by the artist.

唐寅九创作了一系列受他的花园启发的绘画作品，因为他经常花时间在那里精心打理花草。这幅作品是在2022年绘制的，在疫情接近尾声时，他开始采用更明亮的色调，表现出振奋而充满希望的活力。这件混合媒介作品大量涂覆着亚克力、混凝土等材料，因而赋予了画作独特的存在感和质感。此幅作品直接来自唐寅九位于台北的工作室，是欧洲现存的两件作品之一。
