The "History of Ink Paintings" series is Zhong Lexing's newest creation in 2023. Influenced by traditional Chinese landscape paintings, the artist's works have moved beyond the representation of specific objects, leaving behind only the essence, with a reduced color palette of 3-4 shades. Building upon the aesthetics mastered in his earlier works, Zhong now places greater emphasis on silhouettes, allowing viewers to immerse themselves in the inherent qualities of the artwork itself. This piece was previously exhibited at the Jinchen YFM Art Museum in Shanghai.

《水墨画历史》系列是钟乐星2023年的全新创作。因为艺术家受到中国传统山水画影响，在画面中，具体的事物已经几乎消失，只留下脉络，而色彩使用也减少到3-4钟。在前期作品已掌握的示意图的美学之上，更加着重于剪影，使观者能沉浸于作品本身的气质特性之中。这件作品曾在上海金臣亦飞鸣美术馆展出。
