The present work comes from Tianjun Zhang's well-known series, "La Puerta" ("The Door"), which has gained significant popularity in recent times. especially after the artist named his solo exhibition at the Aurora Museum in Shanghai in 2021 after this series. The painting itself is a great representation of Zhang's signature style, using blue and purple hues in layers to abstract traditional Chinese landscapes.
